Not really. We're already past peak-crypto. It's main utility is buying drugs and other illegal things on the deep web from sellers that have a high probability of being scammers. The masses have already become disillusioned with crypto. It was all over the newsin late 2017 and early 2018 when it crashed. Lots of gullible normies went all in when bitcoin was in the 15-19k range and lost over half their life savings. They won't be falling for this again.
The thing is, most people buying crypto aren't buying it to use as a currency...they're buying it as an investment. They think they can just dump all their money into it, wait a year or two, have it go up 10,000 percent and buy muh Lambos. That's what ultimately lead to it going way up in value and then crashing. And while it might have a dead cat bounce here and there, the current trajectory for bitcoin, and all cryptos, is down down down.
I'm so glad I sold and escaped crypto right before the crash. Had I listened to the crypto cultists mindlessly shouting "HODL HODL HODL" I would have lost nearly everything. Not that I had a lot invested in crypto....just a couple hundred. But as a minimum wage slave who lives paycheck to paycheck, that's not a small amount of money.
I am talking about this exact moment.. Look up at bitcoins graph, it always drops and grows.. It was a massive drop from 19.5k and bitcoin will probably cost double that amount, just look at the pattern on graphs.
