Going out to most places in the cities is pretty masochistic. Constant reminders about how much of a loser you are. On top of that, it's also a Friday before Labor Day, so even more people are going to be out tonight.

You could check out all the touristy stuff but it will probably get stale fast since you have noone to share the experience with.
