CRT channels are funny

They've massively inflated the value of old block CRTs.
You can find entire YouTube channels where they hook up their PCs to a CRT TV and claim that games look and play better on them.
It must be some kind of scheme inflate the value of crts they have.
I laughed because I saw an unironic comparison between an oiled monitor and some old CRT.

We've gone from oiled vs LCD, to oiled vs CRT.

It has gotten crazy, especially the few late 1080i CRTs that have HDMI inputs. Those are going for $1000+ now. But, even ones you can convert to component have some value now.

I had one of those component input CRTs in the 2000s. I think it died, though. If I had it now, I could probably get $200, more than I paid for it in like 2003.
