Be that as it may, it's too late to regret what's happened. We are at long last having a discussion when it comes to the truly ugly: the unloved, undesirable, lost and left behind. The seemingly endless stream of videos regarding incels is nothing more than the procession of wholesome, healthy villagers touring the sideshow. They'll gawk, laugh, curse and spit at us as they pass by. I know there will be no actual kindness, no warmth, no decency to be had from the tourists. Though I should shut these videos off, plug my ears and turn away, I just can't help but watch. Nightmare that I am, I will never be desired, never be wanted, never be loved. Yet, illumined by the harsh glow of the carnival's light, at the very least I'll be real. Well, at least until the sun rises and the sideshow lamps once again go dead. Sure, it may not be very much, something infinitely less than the lowest human being has the right to expect.
