A background video recorder might be good for a beginner, but it becomes a hassle as you get more experienced at not getting caught, since you can't change the camera zoom with these apps, unless you make your own app that can also change the zoom.

A simple solution is to find a stable shooting angle and get closer to the target. Beyond that, the quality of your device's camera plays a significant role, the higher the megapixels (MP), the better the image quality.

If you're looking for zoomed-in footage, all you need to do is download a video editing app and crop the video to center the target.
