Credit is jewish, just like the stock markets. They are made as legal gambling or so you have to incur "monthly interest ₪" to improve your credit score. Literally if you get a shit loan with 20% interest you credit will improve as long as you are paying both the amount paid and interest, if you are just paying the debt off you credit will stay the same.

I'm going to chime in and say you are doing something wrong, if you just use credit cards normally and pay it off on time your credit score shouldn't go down, also credit cards (at least the good ones) give good protection from purchase as the payment is usually held at the provider for weeks to a month so if you get scammed you can ask for chargeback
