I usually swim at an indoor pool for cardio. There are lanes for swimming laps and then on the far right there is a lane for playing/splashing - generally for children. I chose to swim on the lane just left of the splashing/playing lane. As I got in I saw a couple talking together in very close proximity to each other, but I didn't think too much of it. After timing a 50m freestyle I looked at them again and they were just kissing very passionately in front of all the kids and their parents. I felt almost embarrassed by their behaviour and somewhat saddened.

I thought it would stop after a minute or two but it continued for 10+ minutes at least. Whilst I was attempting to keep my gaze off them, no one even seemed to care or batter an eye. I talked myself up about how they were both ugly and overweight anyways but it still brought discomfort.

They stood there in line at the bakery.
