I took a college class on comedy way back in the year 2009. For our final exam, we could choose to either do a seven-minute stand-up comedy routine or write an essay. I wrote the essay, I was only 17 years old. Now, I would do the seven-minute comedy routine.

Hell I was a debater for years in high school and I couldn't do a 10 minute comedy routine.

But not necessarily for reasons that you guys think. See, you guys think that we would not be able to stand in front of others like that. We would be shy, they would make fun of us and shun us for our looks.

This is not the prime reason. The prime reason is because it's actually quite hard. Comedy is worn out, only so much jokes you can tell after decades of comedians all over doing the same stuff over and over. Our world is getting worn out.

It's like asking, can you play on the NFL field for 10 minutes? No! You actually wouldn't be able to even if you were a buff chad or tyrone, all of the pros would identify you and single you out for the amateur that you are and take advantage of that.

Honestly, “stage fright” is something you get over around the age of 30. Most funny comedians are ugly, making people laugh is one of the only ways ugly guys can make people like them.
