The Bolvian coup failed

View: https://youtu.be/pOLdtTyQupE?si=yXcrI77_MyDyoWA_

The commander of the army ordered his troops to seize the presidential palace, Normies who support the cuck president came out to protest and the main trade union called for a strike, so how did this prevent the coup from succeeding? Apparently, the president confronted the rebel general, and appointed new generals for the air force, Navy and army. And the new cuck general, ordered the troops to stand down, why did the troops listen to the new cuck general?

2 girls ONE COUP

coup = military attempts to overthrow a government and its leader

Coups can only work if the troops, generals, and general population want it. This wasn't the case this time, and it failed

Bumping so saars see this.

All three generals wanted it.
But the general population didn't. When Pinochet did his coup, a decent chunk of the population wanted it since the socialist he couped barely won the election in 1970 and was acting corruptly till he got couped

Maybe, it's a stupid question, but why does it matter if the general population wants it? I'm sure the jews will place sanctions anyway. Just fire a few live rounds at protesters and they will stop protesting.

Most of the soldiers participating in the coup were probably apolitical and were only following orders from above. Once the rebel general was relieved of command, the soldiers would've had no choice but to take orders from the newly appointed general

Even for a coup, you still need some support from politicians, military and populus since after the coup, you have to rule the country. And if you want your country to be succesful, you need stability for your country to prosper

I think it's the opposite, I read somewhere they the reason the police/soldiers comply is because, the army/police are usually right wing, that's why they have no problem beating up protesters, they usually, support the general.

Understood. Thanks.

I just read that the entire coup was possibly a false flag orchestrated by the president himself to strengthen his popularity. Considering how pathetic and anticlimactic the "coup" was, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest

Might be yeah.

Read: Coup d'État, mode d'emploi

Successful coups usually have the state security apparatus and organs on their side.
