We are given one chance at Life. No Scientific evidence of Life after Death. But............. because of X AND OR Y AND OR Z, we can't do as much as we want to. You gotta admit, that is kind of funny.

That's because if there's a God, he likes to see at least something suffer. Beautiful lions need prey so a 'God' added Zebras for them to tear apart, and some Lions aren't born equal, so these cubs (or adults) are either torn apart or ostracized by their pride. No soul asked to be a Zebra or the mutated cub.

A similar way works with Humans, were there's the genetically gifted and the genetically inferior. A 'God' if he exists, likes to see us suffer and become playthings for the genetically gifted, we literally live in Brave New World and it's just how it is.
