yeah, monogamy certainly existed before christianity's spread but it was only on paper as females were still allowed relatively much autonomy. For instance, here in the north foids could divorce their spouse if they found them lacking in any respect, making the sort of "monogamy" the vikings practiced some blend between that and hypergamy. Christianity put an end to that, as it recognized the blackpill and the inherent weakness of the human condition. It would work in a society where people constantly engage in war (which is also a natural thing for humans to do) and thus the male population is kept low. That's why the one religious group that most actively engages in polygamy are also the most violent (muslims) because their religion expects them to be constantly engaging in holy wars.

- Enforce marriage in terms of looksmatch./statusmatch. (Not sure how to enforce it though)
