I am in the conversion process right now. But it will take me probably 5-8 years
want to learn Hebrew too
 
I don't see a reason as I am not going into politics, law, real estate or banking.

I already had a discussion about this topic on this forum.
I can assure you that 95% of all Jews treat you lawfully and consider you a full-fledged Jew. This is a law from the Torah, or rather it emerges from the Torah.
One of the most famous rabbis, Abraham ben Abraham, was a converted Jew.
According to all Jewish schools of law, one is considered fully Jewish.
Conversion is called giyur in Hebrew. The Torah teaches that a convert is someone whose soul has always been of Jewish origin, but who was born in the wrong body and has now found his soul back.

There is the religious view and there is the view of the people. Even though you are a complete Jew (and even better due to choosing to enter the covenant on your own), people will not treat you that way. I’m an orthodox Jew and telling you based on what I know.

First of all, most people will not even recognize that I am a convert. Surprisingly I have a Hebrew name and I by the look of my face I don't think anyone would recognize.

Secondly, I think nobody will ask. If I learn the Torah, keep the mitzvot and maybe even speak Hebrew one day, no one would think to ask me if I was really born Jewish. they would believe it from the start.

And another point is that most jewish people will see me as one.
I was in New York, Brooklyn. The 2nd largest Jewish community in the world after Israel. I visited synagogues and spoke to a lot of people and exchanged ideas. I did the same in my country, Germany.
you are seen by everyone as a full-fledged Jew and many are happy.
of course there are exceptions, but they don't stick to their beliefs.
i do. then i can feel better than a native-born jew who doesn't keep the torah.

The world is not just the USA, which has the 2nd largest Jewish community in the world.
Therefore, it is simply probable that many leading positions in the media and banks are occupied by Jews.
It's logical. No other country has as many Jews as Israel & USA
Now look at all the other countries on this planet. You will very rarely find Jews in leadership positions there.
