I didn't post it in the thread itself, and I didn't even know about it when I made the thread actually, but the actual study included the researchers showing the attractiveness distributions of race/gender combinations, and they also looked at the effect of skin tone on perceived attractiveness. Very interestingly, they found that, at least for men, there were supposedly just non-significant average differences between whites, blacks and Latinos (women had a significant difference between black women on one side and white women and Latinas on the other), and that the effects of skin tone within races actually seemed to have a stronger effect than differences between racial averages, which has interesting implications
