Console's saving grace is it's simplicity and lack of cheats.

I used dosbox on my laptop to play old dos games but I’m more into PS consoles, they make amazing controllers which is why their design has barely been tampered with over the course of 25 years. It fits so naturally in my hand meanwhile Switch controllers are ass, I tried playing Dark Souls on switch and just gave up.

Dark Souls plays better on PC. I remember a friend playing the first one on the PS3 and getting like 20 FPS on Blighttown while on PC it was easy to get it to 60 FPS at 1080p even before the remaster.
I also happen to like the Xbox controller better than the Sony one, which is an option on PC as well.
Consoles are really for normies and if it's the comfort of playing on a couch you want an incel should have no trouble plugging their TV on their PC. After all, who is going to see it.
Well, i use a controller on my PC. I refuse to play shooters on anything but mouse and keyboard but Dark Souls was clearly made for a controller.
I don't understand how you can play let alone enjoy shooter with a controller.
The movement speed is so slow it takes million just to turn around, that's why they have aimbots on controllers because it's so damn clunky and slow you can't aim like you would with a mouse.

I haven't had a new console since xbox 360, I can't bare the thought of buying a console and playing it since it'll remind me of my years of rotting playing xbox 360 (alone ofc, I had no friends even online) so I just played PC vidya but my recent build (5years old) is showing its age and I don't play vidya anymore but when I do... it's on PC.
