Considering ditching my only friend

I have one friend who is an Aspie Chad. He proves the blackpill true in ways that will enrage people on this forum. He is a 7/10 PSL with Aspergers and ADHD. He is insanely socially retarded and does crazy awkward shit all the time. Anyways, he is my only friend but I can't stand him anymore. He goes on and on about himself, and I've deduced that he doesn't actually give a shit about me. He is EXTREMELY annoying and I can't stand him going on about how girls like him and smile at him etc. He talked about girls all day.

Do aspies appear to not give a fuck about anyone else or is it just him?

anyways, I think I'd rather try to make a new friend, but I'm worried because he's my only friend. Please advise.

That's the problem, I don't know if ill be able to, but I do go to university which makes it easier I suppose.

Aspies do tend to have trouble interpreting social cues, and recognizing when they're making a fool of themself. I knew someone in high school who was like that. I found out a few years after high school that he snuck into an old mill with some friends to drink and do drugs, and then managed to burn down the mill and get arrested

From my experience, it's better to let them go if they're causing you stress. I had a friend I knew since childhood for over 20 years. He was the kind of guy who would land any girl he wanted, treat her like shit, and she would stay with him because "the sex was good". Made me so mad, not that I could ever say that to him. It made me not want to talk to him, so I would never call him or anything. This made him pissed at me, and rather than try to fix it, I just dropped contact, and haven't talked to him since.

My own story aside though, my point is sometimes it's better for your mental health to just let them go and find someone else if that's what you think is best. People don't change, so it's unlikely this guy will ever become the friend that you truly want.
