If something is obviously right, of course I’m going to look for other things that would confirm that. Confirmation bias is soy as fuck. You can’t avoid any biases. Being biased isn’t bad. Everybody is biased.

I don't understand a single cognitive bias

Feel stupid

this is the definition of the confirmation bias.

Yes, but bias can lead you into believing falsehoods.

Most things people believe in are falsehoods created by propaganda, marketing etc.

Can’t normies just say Blackpill is one massive confirmation bias or some shit like that then?

They do say that, but that's because they're biased towards confirmation of the bluepill (wishful thinking).

You can gauge whether or not a blackpill argument is biased by checking whether or not it describes a meaningful sample of reality.

For instance, WMAF is more common then AMWF 20-to-1 on Facebook. But then maybe Facebook is biased, so you look in restaurants, train stations, plazas etc. to check whether the 20-to-1 pattern describes most of reality or just a small part of it. Wilkes McDermid did this experiment and noticed it varied between 19-to-1 and 21-to-1
