This is incorrect. Alignment is more important than capability. Native Americans did not become full citizens of the Republic until the 1920s.

Interestingly enough, Hitler can be attributed to the destruction of Britain and Frances colonial empire by fighting the war. Hitler can be viewed as an anti colonialist to the most extreme level.
