I literally went through all my college years never touching a single classmate

Also adding in: Sometimes you would get a nice or at the very least an interesting teacher that you could talk to here and there or they would at least know your name. I agree. I actually miss high school because of this. I knew everyone's names. Everyone knew each other and i was still able to make friends even if i never dated. i had a lot of people to talk to whether they're friends or acquaintances i had brief small talk with occasionally
