Third world shitholes are already doing something similar; in Bogota, capital of Colombia, there re designated days based off your license plates when you can use your car, in order to curb traffic and emissions. It's not a lockdown, but I can easily see it as a step in that direction

It really feels like they're "baring their teeth" now. Which is bizarre because at least over here in the UK we think of local councils kind of as... kind of mundane, stuffy, boring. lol. Like a group of librarians. XD

And now here they are really showing how aggressive and totalitarian they are capable of being.
