reposting @Sewer Stomper thread bc it's great
You want to be dead. And yet you are alive? What an interesting paradox. Because you are reading this I must presume you are both
A. Alive.
B. Want to die.
But is that not contradictory? If you truly wanted to be dead, you have the means to achieve this at your disposal whenever you seek them out. It would not be too unfair of me to say that the very fact you are alive enough to claim to wish death means that you do not actually want it, but I won't accuse you of this.
Is it because you are afraid of the possibility of pain or failure, and do not have the methods to ensure your death? Only a few are lucky enough to possess guns, most of you do not, so there are far fewer ways of dying that would not have a possibility of survival or pain.
Is it because you still have hope? That your life will get better, that maybe you will still find someone willing to take you, or that you would regret killing yourself if you saw your own future?
Or is it that you genuinely enjoy this life. Eating, masturbating, watching your shows, posting on the Internet. Is there no reason to leave it behind?
Whatever the reason, you are still alive. So allow me to plant seeds of doubt in your mind. If your situation was that desperate, and you truly were suicidal, you could not be reading my post right now. Which means at least something is keeping you here. There was an adage I heard that if you aren't sure what you really want, flip a coin. Not to let the coin decide for you, but because in the moment that the coin is in the air, you will hope for it to land on one side or the other. That side you hoped for is the one you should really choose, not whatever side the coin really lands on.
If you flipped a coin right now, heads means you keep living, tails means you commit suicide today, which side would you hope it landed on? That would tell you everything
