MEXICO — State Police have arrested Guadalupe N, also known as “La Carnicera” (The Butcher), a female hitman from the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG) — after a video found on an accomplice’s phone shows her chopping up a rival with an axe.
The Butcher was arrested for the second time this month in the city of Córdoba, a few days after a judge had released her over lack of evidence from the Prosecutor’s Office.
A suspect by the name of Gustavo N was also arrested at the beginning of the month for his involvement in a kidnapping case.
At the time of his arrest, Gustavo had knives, drugs and a cell phone on him in which authorities found at least one video where The Butcher can be seen chopping up a lifeless man’s body with an axe.
The Butcher and her accomplice were handed over to a regional court in Córdoba, pending an investigation on their legal status.
