I´ve been told by hundreds of women that I´m too physically ugly and not good enough to date them and yet I see these same women date chubby slobs with beer guts. I´m talking about roasties in their mid to late 20s that have likely been dating that guy for years.

They date these slobs, yet act like I´m so far beneath their boyfriends. Meanwhile I´m sub 10% bodyfat with abs.

It pisses me off to no end that body matters so little for men. All the things you actually have control over and can change to some degree don´t seem to matter all.

Many of them fall for charismatic chubby guys (I have seen it myself over and over again). Those buddy-type guys who obviously had something to them which made you always wondering what the heck it is.

Besides bone structure, I now think it has also something to do with mimics, way of speech, facial expression etc. (what girls generally perceive as "charisma"). So it's bones + flesh + a breeze of personalty (but you need the former prequisites to make that count).

Most of those "chubby" guys have good frames - meaning they are large-boned mesomorphs, i.e. large wrists, elbows, wide shoulders, good proportions etc. They also tend to be more masculine, practical and charismatic than their twink pretty boy counterparts. Different types of females do have different preferences. These preferences differ not only from woman to woman, but also change depending on the their current and variable hormonal state. There are however certain characteristics which are a prerequisite for ANY attraction to occur - height and right corporeal proportions (inc. the face), (various parts of the body are in "proper" relations to each other, probably due to physical laws they are mechanically the most powerful arrangements of muscle, bone etc.) and social status and all that having it implies (i.e. mental health, "charisma" , wealth, respect etc.).
