Dating, as we understand it today, is actually a relatively recent phenomenon, maybe around the last 150 years, possibly even less. It’s not some ancient, fixed system; it’s a modern social development.

From a socially right-wing perspective, traditional morals and marriage structures are generally seen as beneficial not just for the economy, but for soyciety as a whole.

The issue I see is that people will complain about women being “degenerate,” but when the alternative is actually becoming more religious or striving toward traditional values, they suddenly reject that too.

So my question is: are you actually committed to a position, or are you just here to complain and whinge?

The alternative should NOT be the Christian religion. I only disparaged Christianity, but I feel that most of my general ill will toward it can be applied to Abrahamic religion in general. People shouldn’t get married like five or six times but when you can’t get divorced at ALL, then the risk outweighs the reward.

This endless, neurotic guilt-tripping from an invisible god does nobody any good. If you can’t even look at a woman and get a boner without being condemned to hell, then what is your religion but a mental chastity cage? And traditional values…you bring this up, but what do you see as traditional values?

same with God. I don't have to prove God to you. I didn't learn about Jesus in a book. Jesus has been with me since the day I was born. Throughout my life, it's evident that Christ has always been with me. So I don't have to prove Jesus to you. He's been in my life.

You clearly don't know Christianity then, because you aren't allowed to divorce your wife.

Majority of churches find that as a strong discouragement to divorce your wife. The Gospels and the Bible itself says one should only divorce his wife due to sexual immorality.

which basically means if your wife or he cheats on their partner, they are allowed to divorce. There is no other reason you should be divorcing your wife, apart from if they cheated on you.

And even then, sometimes a lot of the churches recommend that it's highly forbidden to divorce your partner

Again, where are you getting these claims from? Who taught you? You're literally basing your argument based on other atheists and agnostic people. This isn't from the scriptures, and this clearly isn't from the Bible, so your view of Christianity is very centred outside of the church.

Because im not a believer. To me it sounds like you religiouscels are acting like we are in a fictional world because of the fact that im not a believer. Its really as simple as that i personally have 0% belief of anything spiritual.
