I don't believe the book of Enoch was created by Satan himself, but I do believe that man went against God when writing the book, including their own accounts rather than being lead by the spirit. There is no such thing as the Book of Enoch. It is created by Satan to confuse Christians
That being said I don't know much about the book of Enoch. All the information I have gotten is from my past and my youth pastor
But once again the Book of Enoch doesn't really account for what was happening. I don't think it's canon. I think the church fathers were right with not including that one
I'm very glad you asked me this because I've been looking into traditional Christianity and there's a thing called the Martin Luther Dilemma.
If you speak with the majority of traditional Christians, they'll know about this and they'll teach you about this
If you are not aware of the Martin Luther dilemma, it's basically stating that Martin Luther wanted to go back to the original canon of the Jews, which is what we have now but the Apocrypha was compiled by the church fathers.
Again I don't have to give you a lore history on Martin Luther unless you don't know, but he was a Catholic and he wasn't happy with. I hate
when traditional Christians say that he removed seven books. He didn't; he was just taking them out of his Catholic Bible. He already recommended that they weren't part of the original canon that the Jews used so why should we have them? But then later he used a book writing "The Jews and their lies" and basically that book inspired the National Socialists/nazi party
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but Martin Luther never went against the Orthodox Church. He had a problem with the Catholic Church and then he started his own church. Big misconception for anyone reading that Martin Luther didn't want to actually start his church. He wanted to fix the church but that being said, his church still came about. Along with that it kind of did open Pandora's box
With that being said though, since Martin Luther was a German theologian this is a conspiracy but it is the Martin Luther dilemma on Martin Luther's birthday the Holocaust was inspired by him because members of the National Socialist Party read that book and took inspiration and to honour Martin Luther, they did it on his birthday
So did Martin Luther actually want to go to the original canon or did he do it out of vendetta against the Catholic Church? He had nothing about what the Jews actually originally wanted; he just had a vendetta against the Catholic Church and that's why he split up the church
Now why is this relevant? Because if Martin Luther actually wanted to bring back the original canon, the church fathers did compile the Bible. Traditionally speaking the Orthodox people are correct on this. They have been the ones: Paul went to an Orthodox church. The disciples in the Bible went to an Orthodox church. The same liturgy that is held today has been the same one for the past 2,000 years. If you think that Christians in the Orthodox Church now are sober, they were more sober in the past. If you really want to know what Christianity was like 2,000 years ago, you go into an Orthodox church. The majority of parishes have been there for the past 1,000-2,000 years. They've been longer than the majority of countries
I think the mature decision is if I wasn't a Pentecostal, I'd be an Orthodox Christian. That's it
If you ask me in terms of the apocrypha, there's a lot of wisdom that we miss out on as protis because the Church Fathers had more wisdom than us. I mean they were the disciples of the disciples of Jesus. Can you just imagine what that would be like? To have a disciple who was discipled by Jesus himself. Do you know how much wisdom, how much spiritual they would be
You miss out on things like the Book of Maccabees, where it actually tells us that in the war they could see people's souls going up to heaven and that's why they pray for the dead. They intercede for the dead. A lot of early Christians, they don't pray to saints; they ask the saints to pray for them. They were asking for Peter's intercession when they were building the original church because they knew Christ left a church.
So a lot of this Protestant rubbish about it being not a relation, no, Christ came to start a relation. That's why we have a difference between Jews and Christianity. That's why the New Testament is so important to us because Christ came and he atoned for the death of our sins
If you ask me every Christian should read the Apocrypha. I'm going to when I get some money because at the moment I'm very broke maybe buy it when I get my neetbux
Also, how could you read the Apocrypha, yet not know which parts are true? There must have been a reason not for it to be included in the Bible. For example, in the NT Apocrypha (in the Infancy Gospel of Thomas) - Joseph was hired to make a bed but cuts a wooden beam too short. Jesus then stretches the wood to the correct size to help his father. I doubt this is true, and I believe it was through mans own interpretation that this was written, without the guidance from God.
So why read books that God has clearly not included in the Bible, as we cannot take it as Gospel?
