It always baffles me that women expect to both get special treatment from men (chivalry) and be "independent" and "strong", it doesn't work like that
The entire basis of chivalry in the terms of male treatment of women, is about men HELPING women
Now ask yourself, who does one help?
SOMEONE WHO IS LESS FORTUNATE THAN YOU
In other words, chivalry is inherently a form of misogyny, and is derived from it, because it is about helping women, who are seen as less fortunate than a man, just for existing as a woman
Their very existence from the male perspective is that they are less than, inferior, unfortunate, etc
CHIVALRY CANNOT BE SEPARATED FROM MISOGYNY
Ironically this is why, the more women try to stop misogyny the less men are willing to help them, and women (feminists alike) are so fucking stupid (and lacking honest introspective thought), that they just can't realize that the more you try to equalize the sexes, the less men are going to give women special treatment and help
THE MALE COLLECTIVE CANNOT BOTH BE CHIVALROUS AND VIEW WOMEN AS EQUALS
Its a contradiction, an equal would not need special privileges or help
Throw in all the modern BS of false rape claims and the #metoo movement, and you'll notice a new trend in culture bubbling at the surface, of men being less willing to risk their lives to save women or help them at all, something that would be outrageous in the past. Infact reports are showing that men are even afraid of mentoring female workers or working with them period, and want nothing to do with them, so ironically feminists are helping create another "glass ceiling" with their actions (of course women don't think things through so no wonder they never thought this was a possibility)
Feminists need to understand - SPECIAL PRIVILEGES ARE INHERENTLY SEXIST, but lets be honest women don't hate sexism, they just hate sexism that isn't 100% to their benefit. Being "sexually objectified" stops being a bad thing when a woman can get rich off of it and/or its Chad doing it, THEN its "liberating" and "empowering"
Truth is women love sexism when it favors them, women are THE MOST SEXIST OF THE SEXES
However when it comes to this one, they will lose, they have to make a choice, chivalry or freedom, you can't have both, one will erode the other over time as men catch on, and start becoming more apathetic towards society and women
