You keep it vague enough to sound like you went thru some badboy type shit. Word it in a way the a foid easily could have said the same thing and gotten away with it. You've given yourself at least a little cover to sustain the vagueness, since it's more of a lie of omission than creating a trail. Not that they care that you lie.

I find that when you hide the most interesting aspects of yourself, it's easier to get away with increasingly bolder lies. Or rather, people are so ensnared by the web you're casting they don't care how real it is.
