The passage you provided mentioned names of Semites tribes. The "סיני" has not relationship to China, but to a city named "סין" in Egypt.
But yeah, it is spelled like Chinese indeed.

The Sinai peninsula is also spelled like "סיני" but has no relationship to China.
I disagree with the borcels who think that the Jews 3000 years ago knew anything about China. They were quite primitive.
