I've seen a lot of crazy graphs already, both in general as well as concerning USA-China rivalry in particular, but this one is definitely among the top ones of those. I can barely believe that this is actually true tbh:worryfeels:.

Just the sight of this happening given the general historical trends is insane, nevermind the geopolitical consequences and implications of this. USA was always the country that didn't really have to worry too much about its talent, because the talent of other countries wanted to move there. Their advantage was always that they could simply get the best and brightest of other countries to work for them, and watching them lose this advantage after decades, at least, of having it, is incredible. Seriously, think of how the world was just 10, if not just 5 years ago, something like this was unimaginable then.

You scared of ricemen?

I don’t see an issue.

Nah, I'm actually very much in favour of the West becoming less powerful on the world stage, I'm just honestly surprised to see this, of all things, also becoming an area where the US is losing to China, and to the rest of G7 as well.

I don’t see an issue.
Neither do I really, just surprised to see it happening.

The jews already admitted that the US and europe will collapse, which is why (((they))) are investing in china now.
Seems to be the case tbh.

Well the US can suck my dick for what they did making woke media

The US is pre-emptively acting to thwart China's progress before it gets competitive. Sure government rhetoric has become hostile to China recently, but as China develops, it should not come as a surprise that many would want to return home after college or working abroad for a few years, if they even go overseas in the first place. The Japanese and western Europeans don't flock here en masse like they used to either. Liberal minded and Christian Chinese will always prefer the US, but most Chinamen couldn't care less about those issues.

The West made two big mistakes with China. The first mistake was thinking liberal market reforms would liberalize the government and populace in general; the same mistake was made with Russia to a lesser extent. The second, and more critical, mistake was thinking China wouldn't capitalize on the technology within its borders like India failed to. They couldn't have been more wrong. Now after decades of poorly reverse engineered knockoffs, Chinese companies are now the ones doing R&D and selling knock-down kits to western companies who just slap their brand on. This was the exact opposite scenario compared to 20 years ago. Don't even get me started on their dominance of OEMs for consumer goods and automobiles.

The West won the Cold War by culture bombing the success of capitalism, limited market interventionism, and Christian values onto browbeaten commies. Unfortunately, we don't really embrace those principles as much anymore. The silver lining in this new Cold War is that China's population is collapsing at an even faster rate than the West. It's really a crapshoot when determining which countries will handle rapidly aging welfare states the best. The most recent examples we have are Eastern European nations which are notoriously worse off when compared to western Europe, but they were never that successful to begin with.
