Whenever we answer the, "it's your personality, bro" crap by pointing out that serial killers such as Charles Manson and Ted Bundy had women lining up to fuck them, we are met with, "that's because *insert serial killer here* was CHARISMATIC." 

The people who say this apparently don't know what "charisma" means.

Charisma refers to someone who *looks* cool/compelling. It has nothing to do with personality. Steve McQueen was one of the best examples of "charisma." It wasn't his personality...it was that he just had a cool look to him that drew people in.

Someone who doesn't look cool will never be charismatic. "Charisma" is the quality a movie star possesses. You can't take your eyes off this person.

Some ugly nerd with acne and glasses will never be charismatic, no matter what comes out of his mouth. 

Now if you mean guys that are 7/10 in appearance who look cool instead of 10/10 Men's Health magazine looks can get women, then sure. But it's still all about looks, which is something we don't have.

I'd say the way you carry yourself, the way you talk, your confidence in your appearance all define how charismatic you'll be. Stacies and chads are lucky in that they look perfect so they have no reason to not be outgoing or not give a shit about what people think.

The ugly comedians getting with women usually have money and status on the side, which also compensates for looks.

Its also tough being a comedian because people will always expect you to make them laugh and you'd have to get creative to make your jokes, but I'd have to guess that it'd be tougher with women because usually their tougher to satisfy with and are always demanding more (because of hypergamy).

In social interactions, when a good looking guy makes cheesy, or bad jokes, people still would laugh and thats when we know the halo effect is in effect.
