Do you have gmod? Just point your phone at the monitor use a ragdoll, I got a tripod last year to make it easier because I thought I would have to verify age eventually for stuff (hasn't happened yet fortunately)

This is something I saw coming from a mile away.

First it will start off as "we just need to verify you are old enough to use this website to protect ThE ChiLdReN!". If you oppose it, you're a heartless monster who either doesn't care about children, or even worse you want to harm them.

Then it will be "we just need to make sure you're a human, not a bot". And people will depend it saying we need such a thing to prevent more "ai slop".

Then it will be "we just need to verify it's actually you not a heckin 1337 hax0r!" which was the justification of forced phone verification for everything. If you're against it people just say something along the lines of "why would you be against this, ugh, FiRsT WoRlD ProBlEmS!".

It will be gradual and everyone will eventually accept that they will need to verify their face to do absolutely anything on the internet. Then of course there will eventually be data breaches, then your face will be attached to your online activity. Then for the rest of your life when you apply for jobs a digital background check will pull up the most controversial things you have ever posted on the internet. Good luck with that!

And it prompted me to do so. It's not mandatory for accessing most Google services. I was even able to watch most other age restricted/"inappropriate content" videos, but I had to provide verification to watch this one for whatever reason.

create an alt account if possible, the age verification hit my main account so i just logged out of there and logged into my alt account i created months ago and have not been hit with that age check popup so far

Did you miss on that time when we could do endless free roleplay with the best models like Claude and ChatGPT on Sillytavern? Did you miss out on free Deepseek, that was uncensored and still miles better than character.ai?

To be frank though, the only thing I'm happy about AI chat roleplay, is that I stopped doing it. It was so sad, and never satisfying.
