The problem is that a large percentage of crime goes unidentified, even something that leaves behind hard evidence like murder has a 30-40% cold case rate. A crime like this where it's pretty likely that only the girl herself is the witness will only be prosecuted if she tells someone else, and there's no physical evidence left behind. We would have to look up a comparable crime (only one witness who is non-cooperative, no physical evidence, no photo/video evidence) to get a rough estimate of what the conviction rate compared to the crime rate is, and I can guarantee you it will be abysmal.

It's an everyday thing in any high school in my country at least... Every 16 y.o. foid has a boyfriend that happens to be 18-21 y.o. and Chad.
