Do you think USA left Afghanistan to the Taliban on purpose?
I wouldn't put anything past the USA at this point.

Yeah, that shit breaks daily, and good luck getting the parts needed to fix it.

Military contractors will fucking reverse thread screw holes at a non-standard size just so you have to buy their specific screw that only they make and charge $20/piece for.

They’ve been doing this shit for decades. The toilet seats on military planes cost $1,200+. And if you need to buy some shit like radar defense or something that literally nobody can make except 1 defense contractor, it’s over. Parts that cost more than a mansion in Beverly Hills. $750k antennas.

They’ll get 2 yrs tops out of that shit.

Taliban are used to running Toyota Hilux with MG on the back.

They won't know what to do with American trucks that need fixing all the time.

Too expensive to take back with them, plus they didn’t have time to fly fucking tanks and shit back and forth on C-5s. It would have taken months.

I think they sabotaged some of it before they left so at least it didn’t work.

definitly, they were fighting literal farmers with very primitive equipment (relatively to usa) and no experience in fighting. the only reason taliban warriors managed to fight for so long is that they wanted to die in the field and go to heaven.
the idea that the US trained and experienced fighters with a ton of modern weapons and equipments lost or "forgot " their weapons for some goat fuckers is hilarious.
yeah, a lot of these equipment were actually owned and given from the US to afghan army itself. so america wouldn't have a lot of problem giving it to taliban so that it create a great political disturbing of the area

War isn't mostly about logistics and manpower. It's ultimately a battle of human will.

I suppose that's why the US military budget is so high?

This is not why the US lost. The US lost because they had an unachievable goal. They wanted to create a self-sustaining Afghanistan government.

The problem is Afghanistan is a country full of rural farms that give exactly zero shits about having a Western democracy or whatever. They just wanna herd their goats.

It took 3 days after the USA left and stopped giving money to the Afghanistan government for them to give up. They just simply did not care. It was cool when they we’re getting paid by the USA, but they weren’t gonna die fighting the Taliban.

The USA spent 20 years trying to force a Western-style government on a bunch of literal cave people that just wanna live simple lives. Even the Taliban is tired of running Afghanistan now that the cool Jihad stuff is over.

There’s a lot of reasons. Biggest reason is actually pay and entitlements. The US military is pretty well compensated compared to most militaries.

That's true. There's essentially no compensation in my country's military. With mandatory conscription, that's actual slavery.

Hopefully amerimutts would stop funding trannyranians and larping as enemies

I rather rope than to get conscripted ngl
Same. I got my conscription delayed because I'm a University student, but after I get my degree I'll find a way to actually dodge it.

America's goal was to scare China and Russia while controlling emerald mines and poppy fields.
