Our body has bacteria in several places to maintain a normal environment, like the intestines. Throw that out of whack and you're prone to bad diarrhea, and c.diff if you're really unfortunate.

I know 1 body builder fanatic who has been dead 3 years now. Died at 30. Organ failure. Another two who have serious heart problems and have collapsed multiple times. Another one who almost died from Meningitis and has long term health complications from it and a guy i work with who has broken multiple bones just in the last few years. We were working on replacing a hydraulic hose and he was trying to get a stubborn bolt out and the spanner slipped as the head rounded off and he snapped his radius and his ulna and needed extensive surgery to repair it i saw and heard them break. Instead of a simple case of busted knuckles it was broken bones! A few years before that he stepped off a ladder funny and broke his ankle. Something must be wrong with his bones. There is another nut job fitness fanatic i work with who has crippling IBS since he got on the wagon a few years ago. He was much healthier when he ate currys and kebabs.
