People just underrate how heritable it is because of lookism. Fat fucks are ugly, therefore distaste for them comes naturally, but it needs to be justified because normfags like to see themselves as "empathetic". Plus, unlike height (which btw normfags also sometimes blame on people's choices instead of their genes) you can justify it by saying that it's "a choice" because technically you get weight by doing something you could regulate (eating). That doesn't take into account that like 90% of genes associated with obesity when defective are linked to the function of the central nervous system, with trying to eat less as someone screwed over in this domain being like trying to play a game with a broken controller. It says a lot that the only thing that is actually managing to lower obesity rates at scale (GLP-1s) functions by effectively removing this entire "controller" out of the equation by making people not be hungry in the first place.

Besides that differences in body bone structure are insignificant when accounting for two people of the same sex, height, weight, body fat and muscle percentage. Being skinny is of course inferior to being at a normal weight or being fit, but it is infinitely superior to being overweight or obese in looks. I do not fulfill my needed calorie intake so I'm underweight, overweight and obese guys mog me so hecking much guys, everyone knows that being overweight and obese is more attractive than being underweight. Most take out food today is terrible. 20 years ago I don't recall it being this bad. KFC was actually enjoyable. Now I loathe the idea of going to it.
