Yea but there are only a few games at the arcade that I play but even thats not cheap. 80+$ for around two hours of playing the game plus food, thats like 118$ per visit just to kill 3-4hours. arcade coping just once or twice a week is just as bad as going to the casino and losing.

By altering the stake (basically increasing it after losses and decreasing after wins while counting a thousand games-- which is what the RTP is supposedly based on). I've been doing it on Free Play with mixed results. I'm too lazy to do it properly but it's highly unlikely to be successful.

You have better odds at sports betting if you know a sport reasonably well. I'm about break even on my sports betting overall. On slots I'm down a couple of grand over the last year. Try Slingo's, they're better than Slots I think as the games take much longer, so you lose less. They're more fun as well.

It's not impossible, in theory. There are thousands of games with their own mechanisms, with a set RTP of 95%+ and varied volatility. And most big wins are on bonuses, which occur semi-regularly. If you studied a game enough it's do-able.

This is how I see it. If you go into a casino with a hundred dollars, the most you can lose is a hundred dollars. But the most you can win is many multiples more than that before the casino bans you from winning too much money off them. Probably tens of thousands. Nah I just checked and I've only lost ~2%. From hundreds of thousands of bets. And I've had jackpots loads of times (500x jackpots anyway, nothing life-changing).

It's not totally independent, though, is it? If it were, the RTP would be completely random. It's just maths and probabilities.

I've bet far less on sports but I'm down ~1%. I know quite a lot about football and am going to try to set up a system for the next season. The key variable I've identified is key player availability. I just need to identify the key players for each PL team (there's some good data sites around nowadays for player stats), then check the lineups an hour before games and bet for the team with the most key players starting. If that gives me more than a 1% edge I'm into profit.

But the more legit way of making money from betting sites is by finding disparities in the odds by scouring the sites. There's great variability and hundreds of sites, so you can find sporting events where you can back both outcomes and be guaranteed a profit. You tend to get your accounts banned pretty quickly for doing this though, I think. You can find guys doing it on Youtube. Another method guys have made a lot of money is by attending sporting events and placing bets before score changes are reported back to the sites.

Personally I just want to make a few hundred k so I can invest in property and have easy, passive income for life.
