This is perfectly true, now that you mention it, I've literally never seen a guy or gal who looked like they have their lives together NOT have a driver's license. I don't have one and I feel like a loser every time someone drives by me. Walking is for kids.

Indeed. Also the last poll here showed that 30% do not have a driver licence and way more than 100 people participated in this one. There is really a trend going on that more and more men do not have such crucial thing as a driver licence anymore.
