Carjacking: would you run over a pack of thugs?

I talked to a truck driver. He said up around New York, if someone steps into the path of your truck you just keep going.

Human nature dictates most people would be too traumatized to risk running over someone.

I myself couldn't do that. I'd stop. And get carjacked.

I would probably fall for it too. Although I have seen enough videos of drivers threatened by people (on foot) to know that they tend to flee, running over crowds if they have to.

From what the truck guy said, it's a gang ploy in New Jersey to step out, hold up hand as if there's a pothoke or something.

Then the gang swarms .

This old geezer was a dirty worn out alcoholic.

But I believed him.

That old geezer is full of it. Driving is a privilege. If you feel threatened it’s not hard to push them out of the way at slow speed while not running them over causing harm.

A car can be used as a weapon and ppl have been given life in prison for playing games. Then you’re around thugs all the time.

Stay out of bad areas and keep a tool like a slotted/phillips-head screwdriver near for defense.
