According to someone who a witness (idk if true) in Reddit, it was someone mis identified and beaten to a pulp

Eyewitness Les Winsper (55) told the Telegraph: "I think he was driving down the road and hit someone. The crowd then tried to open the driver's and passenger doors. I think he then panicked and continued driving through the crowd. People were screaming, children were crying. It was a terrible scene."


So because of the pricks who tried to attack him it turned into an even worse incident
