even when i got a job through connections i couldn't hold on it longer than 3 month because i got so exhausted and i couldn't connect with people on job.
same here, it’s sometimes worse when you get a job through connections because you may not have the skills for that job or people think you got the job just because you know someone. so your boss is on your ass more. It’s lose lose. And then they have an excuse to fire you because they never really wanted to hire you in the first place. It was just doing your connection a “favor”.
