I've seen this scenario play out a million times. Almost every guy I've ever known has acted different when a woman was around as opposed to when it was just guys. Sometimes it's somewhat subtle but sometimes it's really extreme, like "jekyll and hyde". I remember a couple friends I had a long time ago who were turbo edgelords. They weren't genuinely racist, but they'd say super offensive shit just for shock value, make racist jokes, etc. Then this girl started hanging out with us who was the tumblrina type, and whenever she was around they'd start mirroring her politics and act ultra woke.

I wonder if women realize how differently men act when they're around. I'm sure they know men act differently to some extent, but I don't think they realize how extreme the difference in behavior truly is. They always carefully craft their words, behavior and idiosyncrasies to match that they think the woman will like. Some guys try to act more woke and "sensitive", some guys act more macho and tough, then of course there's the constant one-upmanship. It's all so tiresome.

I'll also use this as an excuse to once again shill for my thread about neijuan (omnipresent hyper-competitiveness):
