If something says that I'm great, it hurts a little, because I've had this negative reinforcement all throughout my life to the point at which anything positive happening feels like it's making a cruel mockery out of me. A game saying "great job" just makes me feel even more alone.
Yes, up to the taking apart the clock. I was not good at games because I never had a console till like high school, I also have bad hand eye coordination.

The only achievements I've ever gotten that I actually felt good about were in multiplayer games, when you reach a high rank in competitive multiplayer. Even then it was only a mild sense of accomplishment which faded very quickly.
