I wish I could play piano or guitar. They seem to be nice copes.

I've been playing piano since I was 6, took a few breaks from it while I was in college.
Used to play alto saxophone for a couple years in middle school. Wish I stuck with it, I was pretty good and sax is a cool instrument.
Started singing last summer.

I need to be in a certain mindset to want to practice though. It's hard to keep up with practicing when I'm feeling depressed.

Nothing's stopping you from learning now. It'll keep your brain plastic and stop the rot. Music, whether listening or playing, is my all time favorite cope.
Just get a digital MIDI keyboard, nothing expensive, and there's many online resources nowadays if you don't want to hire a teacher.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll probably find a great cope with that

When I was a kid taking lessons at a piano studio, there would always be one or two older students, I'm talking 50s, 60s, even 70s. They would perform easier pieces at the studio recital, but they had fun doing it and I respected them so much for taking on the challenge of learning a new skill at an age where most would be content with going through the motions of life.

So don't ever think you're too old to learn an instrument. You might pick up things more slowly, but it's the process of improvement that is the real cope for the incel brain, to feel like you've accomplished something.

No, not at the moment.

I once constructed a very simple piano piece(Piano Bits) in 2017. Justus Grossbier is able to play piano and violin.

No. Me and my brother always wanted to play drums as kids but our parents wouldn't let us, they would only allow shit like guitar which we thought was gay and lame

If you want to have fun with music but you don't have the time/desire to learn an instrument, you can download a DAW and make EDM. I play guitar and bass but I have the most fun just messing around making experimental stuff.

I tried to learn saxomophone, but gave up due to depression.
