I am currently 120 kg and 167 cm (170 cm is the average in my country).

Will losing this weight and gymcelling make me appear taller than I am?

Taller? No, losing weight will not make you appear taller. If you want to look taller buy some lifts or elevator shoes.

It can make you look taller, but not much. I suggest growing hair out and wearing decent shoes. Maybe stretching could help some as well.
