Preface: the question stems from the observation that every time I see two people arguing over "personality", the blackpilled says "it doesn't matter", the soy beta says you "just need to change your personality", implying that you can in fact change it. But this is an assumption that I never see challenged by anyone.

I ask this question to all of you brocels and invite you to recount your eventual experiences trying to change your personality and what happened afterwards.

I myself have tried once when I was 17. For a while I tried to be more easygoing and "extroverted" but I was perceived as weirder by all and although I made more loose friendships, none were meaningful and none lasted more than a week. I was used by a foid for her schoolwork. I said, never again, and now I'm mostly alone.

Perhaps I need to research this topic more deeply, regarding personality and allat psychological bs.

Even personality is genetic you can't really change your personality

only a gf could

You can't "change" your personality like flipping a light switch but you can push it in a different direction over time. Something like picking up new hobbies. But I doubt that you will be a completely different person at the end of it all.

I've done basically anything to get the ladies, money, time and worked out... I don't think it's in my power to decide that

This is one of the things I don't understand... Hobbies do not define your personality. They define how you spend your time, but not your personality. Sure perhaps some hobbies are indicators of your personality (like art related ones?) but you can have the most charming personality while LDARing when you have nothing to do. I cycle through hobbies of mine but does that define my person? Honestly I think not. I've met people with all kinds of hobbies that had all kinds of personalities.

Personality is bullshit and all about jaw development.

In my non-professional opinion, your personality is whatever you always default to. Everything else is called "acting."

I don’t believe in having a personality. I just see it as being NT and it being influenced by your looks and voice

Personality is inconsequential.

Personality is inconsequential.
I know it, I just want to ask you guys if you think personality is even able to be changes since I take it from the few interactions I see on the matter, that it is sort of implied that you can

Personality is just charisma. When people say you have a bad personality it just means you are uncharismatic. They imply it makes you a bad person but don't confuse personality with morality.
You can fake charisma to an extent but if you are an autist it will wear you down mentally. It is not possible to do long term, I couldn't act NT for even 5 minutes. Not only am I naturally not charismatic but I have a quiet monotone voice too so I have too many things working against me. Even if I had something funny to say my voice would ruin it.

personality basically is your face...

not really the general scientific consensus is that its 30-60 percent genetic. But i would go even higher up to about 75.

You can do psychedelics if you want to change your personality.

i don’t think so, if you were a dick head as a kid you will carry it through your life. Behavior you can change although as you get older not as much because the brain is not as mandible. Like if you were to give me a gf out of nowhere I wouldn’t be comfortable after living alone for so long.
