Not really. It's because touch and contact can work wonders for stress and frustation
They aren't going to get that so maybe they should try and let the things they hate about their current life, be the motivation to change their life. IDK but that just sounds like common sense to me. Its like physical pain, if someone stabs you, you don't need a "positive experience" to "motivate" you to fight them lol
All this positive motivation nonsense is rather new
If we go back to our roots as humans, when we had to struggle to survive before civilization, it was the negatives of reality that motivated us to survive (hunger, fear, etc), that's all you really need, all you need is to not want to fucking suffer and that's motivation enough to last a lifetime
But again, a lot of these guys are privileged which is why they can say "I'm going to do nothing and be a NEET", if they lived in a poor country they wouldn't even be thinking like that because they'd know they didn't have that choice
They aren't really "suffering" so they aren't motivated to escape their life, they have a martyr complex, they are just complaining about minor pointless things because they want to complain about something
Anybody who can wake up everyday and feel alright doing nothing to change their life is living a pretty comfortable life, complacency never takes hold in a life of suffering, if you woke up everyday truly hating your life you'd be DESPERATE to escape it, no excuse would matter to you, all that would exist is the possibility of escape
I just feel that we should stop attacking each other and dividing the community
If I step on an ant, or I walk over it, at the end of the day its still going to be an ant
Opinions vary greatly, and that's normal. It is inevitable that people will think someone is a fucking idiot as we all have different views on different subjects, you just can't please everyone
Being contrarian like this is pointless because at the end of the day someone is right and someone is wrong, saying we have "different views" is stating the obvious, the question is whose views are rational and whose isn't
This whole "lets agree to disagree" mindset is very typical of someone with no strong convictions
You are basically just stating the obvious but you seem to think that's somehow "profound"
"We all think differently"
Yeah, no shit, but I care about whether or not I'm ACTUALLY RIGHT (as in correct) about the way I think, because if I'm wrong I'm probably going to make bad decisions and fail at life, being "right" is important if you want to have an enjoyable life
This whole "we can all think differently" nonsense is exactly how people rationalize illogical choices
"Well I feel like X"
"Well I think X"
Ok, now what if you're wrong?, what you feel and think doesn't matter, what matters is if you are right about it, because that's going to determine how your life goes
