Majority of people who use Linux as desktop OS on their PCs and laptops are autists who are engaged in this nonsense for ideological reasons and to be different from everyone else.
Gaming isn't the only painful thing on it. You're not going to be able to use stuff like FL Studio or Adobe at all. My solution was to just use a VM for it, but you really do have to have quite a decent PC to do so...
