I was reminiscing about my past and remembered an interaction I had in high school.

For context we had to hand in our phones at the beginning of class. When class had ended and a foid who was maybe an mtb asked “where did he put our phones?”

Since it was a general question, she wasn’t talking to anyone specifically and no one had immediately responded to her I told her where they were.

She then looked at me with these dead eyes and an annoyed expression for a few seconds without saying anything to me.

I am still kind of confused as to why she did this.

I would’ve understood if she ignored me as that happened a lot but she seemed genuinely angry that I responded to her.

I am aware that I am ugly but was she insulted that someone as ugly as I am answered her question?

It seems too unreasonable.
