What really pisses foids off about the "friendzone" is the implication that roasties will use your attraction towards them to get a one-sided friendship out of ugly males. It is another example of females lacking any and all empathy that they would claim to believe that still being friends after they've rejected your romantic advances is some kind of consolation worth something and not just taking advantage of someone in an emotionally vulnerable position. This is complicated further by the nature of female "friendship" when a man is involved. What we refer to as "emotional tamponing" is just what females do amongst each other. The problem is, for men, this level of emotional openness is far more intimate than our male friendships ever are. Male friendships are more based on entertainment value. Foids are shit at being entertaining. So even if you try to "just be friends", you're going to end feeling used and unfulfilled in the friendship because the girl will get her need to emotionally dump on you met, but you'll never get your need for fun and entertainment met out of her.
