Title

I haven’t read for a long time but I used to be addicted to books as a kid. I’ve lost that hobby but I’m trying to get back in to it.

My current booklist is:
1.Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov
2.Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy

-1984
-Brave New World
-The Capital
-Mein Kampf
-The Wealth of Nations

Any fantasy book, idk why but reading about totally different worlds makes me feel better

I’ve also been thinking about Faust but I think I won’t like it

i’ll look into it

Fausto actually has two books; the first one is the most well-known.

It's entertaining; I read it.

I don’t like political books but I already have brave new world so I will read it.

Also Mein Kampf is boring I’ve already read it

Does it have this typical 1700s grammar?

I read a Spanish version, but it was quite readable; it seemed more like a 20th-century book.

I suppose it depends on the translation you find.

I already know the plot so I will be less motivated to read it but when god allows me to I will

Moby Dick
Why is it Moby "Dick"? Could be due to language barrier that I fail to understand the meaning behind it, but we have no Sergey Hui (dick), or something like this. I've heard that the name "Dick" was common during the middle ages.

War and Peace is also pretty good. My favorite book is dune and I'll recommend that too, it's miles better than the movies

Dick was a name given to whales by sailors and whailers during the time Melville was alive. Named after Mocha Dick, a white whale who had several encounters with humans near Chile.
