Call of duty is a franchise with a fuck load of issues but in a ironic flip, its still a fun fucking game. Caimpaigns may not be that good unlike the older CODs but the some parts are nice.
Now BO6 is obviously shit. The guns may be really cool for a COD game but that dont meannanything with everything else is shit.
How about I talk BO3. Caimpaign may be confusing but if you underdtand it then you relise that its pretty decent. It kinda feels more like your doing black operations then BO2 since your with the CIA. Fucking around outside of major milatary forces. Multiplayer is actually decent. It aint no modern warfere but the thrust movment gave a new gimmik to play with. Advance warfere on the other hand felt more chaotic but also fun in a different way. Plus the fact that BO3 Brings back a shit load of old zombies maps from WAW, BO1 and I think 2 from BO2.
Infinite warfere I feel only hot the hate due to BF1 wile combined with the fact activision kept on spamming the future genre so much along with other future games that it was too much. Multiplayer was not as good as BO3 but had some pretty ass veiws of space and other planets to look at. That one map that takes place at a black hole was kinda WTF. Campaign was fucking epic. It wasnt no mass effect but it was probably just as ambitious if bot more then BO2 campaign. Story was I say kinda on the IW side. I actually prefer BO3s caimpaign.
MW19, when Activision gave the finger to the old ass Quake engine and decided to step up the game. Literally. Had the magnification effect on scopes with not alot of consle games dared to do until MW19 came out. Gun smithing was fucking massive. Way beyond what ghost recon wildlands or BF4 did. Maps were pretty good though 1 I fucking hate was picadilly. Campaign was decent, pretty dark for a Infinity Ward type game. Nothing conpared to Treyarchs old school style. Cold war felt bland, watered out, despite cold war having a better caimpaign, it deosnt mean shit when multiplayer is so damn watered out. But I do like how you can have a 12 round .44 magnum in the multiplayer. Also Cold war is when they started with the werid fag shit for characters. The suits. Things like that witch got worst for BO6. MW19S finnest hour for me was the night vision matches on multiplayer witch I cant fucking find anymore witch is bull shit. And ground war was competing with Battlefields conquest mode. Spec ops was kinda botched though.
MW22/23. Now these games are like cusins. More so cusins then brothers since MW23 was actually meant to be DLC. And added some experimental shit into it. MW22 felt like they were gonna go more Mil-sim like. With the game modes and stuff.
MW22 brough back ground war witch is nice. Had all these extra modes I never got to try though I hope I can try DMZ mode. Caimpaign was I say onpar of MW19. Gun smith seemed to be expanded on waaaayy beyond what Id expected. More shit to put on your guns. Maps were good. Though not as good as MW23.
MW23 as I call it since it was released 2023 was kinda a uniqe experience. People hated it but Sledghammer kinda keep on putting effort into it until it bacame what it is and truth be told. I actually like it more then MW19. MW23 brings back multiple MW2 (from 09) maps back. Brings back a hamd full of IW guns and wile doong all these experimental shit. No more grinding for gun/ attachments with how the daily challenges work. Infact unlocking then can back track to MW22 if the gun is in MW22. You can put attachments from AW guns onto either the AWA guns in MW23 or even the real guns. I was able to put the reflex from AW on a M4. And it looks weird. On the flip side almost every assualt rifle has a integral suppressed barrel option. The BAL27, MCW, that weird AN94 looking rifle, and probably more then I know. The content is extremely packed for guns. Theres still ground war on MW23 but I think theres only like a couple maps. Theres zombies for the .000001 percent of people who want to play zombies on a MW game. Only touched it for the daily challenges to unlock somthing.
Now out of all of them. MW23 and BO3 are the best choices though ghosts will alway be my favorite of the CODs. Not joking.
But if your thinking between MW22 or 23, just get MW23. MW23 has way better maps and way more content(thats still alive) then MW22. DO NOT TOUCH BO6! BO6 is fucking shit.
